Privacy

Ascend collects as little as it can. You do not need an account to read the site, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details at any point.

What we collect

• Basic request data. Our host records standard server information for every visit — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. This is used to keep the site running and to detect abuse.
• Aggregate traffic figures. We look at how many people visit and which deals get clicked, so we know what is worth listing. These figures are counted in aggregate and are not used to build a profile of you.
• Your email or webhook, if you give it to us. Only if you sign up for alerts, and only to send you those alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we delete the record when you do.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We do not run advertising networks or third-party ad trackers on this site.
• We do not ask for or store payment information.

Amazon and cookies

When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies in your browser to attribute the visit to us. That process is Amazon’s, and is covered by Amazon’s privacy notice, not this one. We never see your Amazon account, your cart, or what you bought — only an aggregate count of orders attributed to us.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. If you have signed up for alerts and want your record removed, email us and we will delete it.

Children

This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
